Corporate Engagement

The Waikato Management School (WMS) has been a significant provider of programmes to the corporate sector.

Our corporate clients include:  Telecom, Gen-i, AgResearch, Hamilton City Council, various District Health Boards, WEL Energy, Carter Holt Harvey, Unison Networks, Counties Power and Prolife to name a few.   For corporate enquiries please contact Peter Sun on peter.sun@waikato.ac.nz

Community and SME Engagement

The Waikato Management School has for many years sponsored and been involved in the Chambers of Commerce as well as other business community organisations within the Waikato and Bay of Plenty region.   WMS are developing links with the Institute of Directors and the Employers and Manufacturers Association.  We have for many years been a key sponsor of the Sustainable Business Network and the Waikato Chamber of Commerce Business Awards and the Waipa Business Awards.    We encourage businesses to build relationships and interact with the Waikato Management School to utilise the resources and abilities to help grow the businesses and wealth of the community.    For more information please contact us execed@waikato.ac.nz

Participant Engagement

Two of the strengths of the Waikato Management School is its ability to research and provide the business community with capable, knowledgeable and enthusiastic participants willing to assist businesses to grow.   These types of service can be research project, work experience and internships.  Top quality graduates often require experiences which are learned from real interactions with industry.  Experience has shown that these types of participant engagements benefit both the participant and the businesses involved.
